Besides, the location was marvellous for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Newcastle Beach. The hotel was in a very quiet area, adjacent to the bar/restaurant, the centre of the town, and shops very handy to all amenities: D

great location beside Slieve Donard, large family room arrangement, well-furnished interiors
The bathrooms are outdated, lacking modern aesthetics!!! The absence of a bar or restaurant is surprising for such a size!!!

Nice cozy stay with good staff
We stayed for a night and it was a solid choice. The room was comfy and spacious. We got a nice sea view! The staff were super friendly, especially the breakfast crew-they really made the morning for us! Just wished the dinner menu lived up to the hype. Some dishes were not worth the price. Definitely a decent stop!

excellent access to beaches and good dining options nearby
I found the staff to be friendly and cute, and with the perfect distance of just 500 meters to Newcastle Beach, it was easy to take long strolls along the shore. I loved having so many great dining options like the Copper Restaurant just a few steps away.

Consider requesting a room away from the street if you're a light sleeper, as noise from outside can be disruptive.

Amazing Stay with Really good Staff
The staff were attentive, we had everything we needed, including a cozy setup for our dog. The room was spacious and super clean, and the breakfast featured a good range of options, from fresh pastries to hearty fare. If I could suggest anything, it would be to have more convenient parking options available.

Couple's great escape
He gave us parking tips that saved us a lot of hassle and even posted my earphones back when I left them in the room, talk about going the extra mile. The breakfast was just what we needed to kickstart the day -- fresh fruit, pastries, you name it.
It wasn't exactly economical, but you know what? Worth it.

Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere
The staff were friendly and provided great local tips, while the room was not only spacious but also spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast offered a good variety, including fresh pastries and strong coffee. It would be nice to see more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs.

The staff were super friendly and helped us a lot, our family room was clean and comfy. Breakfast had loads of options, and we loved the location! Would def come back again!
Only thing i didn't like was the parking situation, it was kinda limited. The wifi only worked in the lobby which was a bit annoying.

The room was cozy and nicely decorated. It was well-sized and had a beautiful sea view, a lovely surprise. The bed was pretty comfy, but there was some noise from outside that was a bit distracting. A decent spot for a night's stay but a few little things could be better.
